The Purchasing Department is a member of the administrative team of The Irvington Housing Authority. The Purchasing Department is responsible for purchasing all supplies, and materials, as well as maintaining supplies and inventory for IHA.
In addition, there is the responsibility of the purchasing of equipment required and services contracts for all repairs to the property. Other responsibilities include, all purchases made on competitive bids, competitive contracts, professional services and Request for Proposals. The overall goal of the Purchasing Agent is to provide safe, decent and sanitary services for all residents.
